Australian farmers are faced with a dilemma – agricultural production must increase steadily over the next few decades to meet demand, but no plan to achieve it has been set yet. The New South Wales Farmers Association today hosted a question and answer forum called “Meeting The Food Security Challenge” to help raise awareness on the problem. It featured a panel of agricultural researchers and experts, and generated some interesting debate on an often-overlooked issue.
