Eighty employees at Fairfax are going to lose their jobs, after the company this week announced radical cuts. Thirty of forty press photographers will be replaced by the American stock photo agency Getty. Staff in Sydney and Melbourne have been on strike for the last 24 hours. That strike has now ended and talks are ongoing between management and staff.
