Australians who “support” or are calling for Sharia should leave, or be stripped of welfare and the right to vote, says Tasmanian Parliamentarian Jacqui Lambie. But experts want to know exactly what Lambie means when she uses the term “Sharia”. They point out that Sharia is complex, and that Australian Muslims hail from dozens of different countries, sects and ideologies. Each with their own interpretation of the Islamic Code. As a result, there is no one Sharia for Australians to support.
