The unique landscape which makes Kangaroo Island one of South Australia’s natural beauties is under threat after a state government decision to fund the connection of a tourist lodge to the Island’s main electricity supply. The Southern Ocean lodges have experienced criticism over their eco-friendly resort and the grant allowing the removal of native vegetation to build an electricity line seems to be another step in the wrong direction for the embattled development.
