Earthquake-vulnerable housing related to forced migration in Turkey

An earthquake in south-east Turkey has claimed hundreds of lives, and authorities expect to find hundreds more as they sort through the rubble. One of those cities worst affected is Van, which contains many hastily built houses because of a large population influx over the last couple of decades. The head of the Anthropology department at Macquarie University says that some of that influx was due to forced migration.
