The challenge of Closing the Gap in social and health outcomes between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians is huge. AMA President, Professor Brian Owler says a focus on health, particularly in the early years has the potential to change lives and really see a turn around in economic and social prosperity for Indigenous people.
