Today marks the launch of Call To Country, Australia’s biggest ever anti-coal seam gas campaign. Run by advocacy group Lock The Gate, the campaign is seeking a new legal process for coal seam gas exploration – which it says is not environmentally secure at the moment. The campaign’s force of 20,000 members has begun lobbying Federal politicians to freeze exploration until the restrictions are re-drafted.
