Furry companions throughout Australia are helping children read.

The non-for-profit organisation Story Dogs is improving the reading and literacy skills of many primary school children across Australia.

The program helps children who are behind in reading and literacy with one on one reading sessions with a volunteer and their dog.

The program is changing children’s attitude towards reading and lowering the absentee rates on a national level.
