The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is asking the government to remove barriers that prevent international medical graduates from working in Australia.

Suggest making the application process easier and providing more support for international medical graduates.

RACGP believes that attracting and keeping international doctors is crucial for healthcare in rural areas and overall general practice in Australia.

We spoke to the President of RACGP, Dr Nicole Higgins, on the importance of international medical graduates in regional towns.
