Employees at the Department of Human Services are set to go on strike next week, with hopes of pressuring the Government into breaking the deadlock on pay, service and debt collection issues affecting the department.

The Community and Public Sector Union who organised the industrial action expect that staff from Centrelink, Medicare and Child Support Services will take part in the industrial action on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the next two weeks.
