Australia and America have always been the closest of friends and with a new defence agreement we look set to make a cosy threesome with Japan. Talks have begun which could see the three nations enter into a defensive missile pact designed to shield their forces from North Korean attacks. But it seems this agreement may be a little more complicated than you might expect, especially when relations with China are considered.
