Defence Commodore Kafey reinstated after Skype sex scandal

An inquiry into the Skype sex scandal at the Defence force Academy has found that academy chief Commodore Bruce Kafer has no case to answer. Commodore Kafer will now return to work. He was stood down last April after criticism of how he handled the case of a female cadet who was filmed having sex without her consent. Defence Minister Stephen Smith was critical of Commodore Kafer at the time and today said he does not resile from that view in spite of the outcome of the inquiry.
