Almost one in five young adults think it’s acceptable to expect to track a romantic partner – that’s according to new eSafety research. This Domestic Violence Awareness Month offers a reminder that abuse is more than just physical, and can extend to tech based too.
Tech-driven coercive control is on the rise, and through tracking apps or dating platform digital features, researchers highlight the need for stronger privacy protections and greater digital education.
