The Dalai Lama publicly announced this week that if he is to be reincarnated he will leave clear written instructions about the process.
The Tibetan spiritual leader released a statement in which he saidwhen he is “about 90” he will consult Buddhist scholars to evaluatewhether the institution of the Dalai Lama should continue at all.In past years the Chinese government has interfered in the process in an effort to influence Tibetan politics.
