CSIRO expert warns about our dangerous love of plastic

By the year 2050, 95 per cent of sea birds will have plastic in their stomachs, according to a study by the CSIRO. The three-year national marine debris research project has found an enormous amount of plastic around the coastline and oceans of Australia, and CSIRO senior research scientist Dr Britta Denise Hardesty warns this will be very bad for Australia’s marine environment.
