Over the last 24 hours the crisis in Venezuela has amplified with the opposition leader Juan Guaido calling for people to take to the streets and protest in large numbers. Guaido took to the streets himself surrounded by military defectors in the country’s capital city Caracas.

The protests saw the death of a 27 year old woman who was protesting against the current Maduro led government.
