Coroner finds Balibo five deliberately killed

The Indonesian military deliberately killed five Australian-based journalists at Balibo in East Timor in 1975, according to a coroners report released today. The findings follow a six-week inquest earlier this year, into the death of Brian Peters, one of the Balibo Five. The Wire has been following this story since the beginning of the inquiry. Heather Anderson speaks with Mrs Shirley Shackleton, widow of one of the Balibo Five, about her reaction to the findings.
