A report leaked today shows that in spite of being told that the Coorong had only six months left if it didn’t get water, the government put the issue on the back burner. Matt Rigney is a local Ngarrandjeri man – he says the Coorong is already starting to look like the Dead Sea and the only hope is to get rid of the barrages and let it be tidal again. Greens Senator Rachel Siewert says the government needs to take urgent action.
