From today onwards, Sydney metropolitan listeners will have 8 new digital community radio stations. It’s been a long time coming – with commercial radio going digital 2 years ago. Like digital TV, its now possible to have more channels, with more content, and to pause radio, rewind and fast-forward. But just like digital TV, there is a challenge to produce high quality new material on the same budgets.
