Coal mine worker says no to new fossil fuel projects

What has been termed as one of the biggest climate protests in the Nation’s history took place in Newcastle this week.

Environmental defenders gathered to demand the New South Wales government and Federal government speed up the transition from fossil fuel projects to renewables.The protest was organised by group Rising Tide, who also want an end to coal exports. Howard Grant, is a coal mine worker, and following four decades in the industry, says the change needs to happen now.
