The future of the Great Barrier Reef has been a long-running concern, as climate change has caused significant damage to the beloved Australian landmark.
TheĀ Association of Marine Park Tourism Operators has written a declaration outlining their opposition to fossil fuel mining and transportation in the area, as is it one of the main factors leading to coral bleaching in the reef. Their executive director spoke with “The Wire” to explain more.
