In a bid to prove the Government’s clean energy credentials, Prime Minister John Howard has used his weekly radio address to flag the rollout of a 230-million dollar investment package to encourage the development of clean energy technologies. But it seems the focus of the funding will not be the renewable energy industry, but technologies which can lower emissions from already existing fuel sources. Sophie Gyles spoke to Corin Millais, CEO of the Climate Institute of Australia about the roll-out.
