Today scientists and researchers from around Australia penned an open letter to Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull calling for urgent action on climate change.
The letter had 154 signatories from a number of different fields, from ecology and biology to medicine.
While we may be aware of the effect climate change can have on the planet, researchers are highlighting the impact it can have on human health.
