Civil groups urge Federal government to move on anti-racism plan

In late 2024 the Australian Human Rights Commission launched the country’s first national anti-racism plan with 63 recommendations for a ‘whole society’ approach to eliminating the issue.

A year on and civil society groups say the Federal government has taken no action on the framework, with over 50 organisations urging the government to immediately fund and implement the roadmap.
