How do begin to rebuild after one of history’s largest earthquake? For Chile this is the problem it now faces. It has had to mobilise both its civil and military resources; in an effort to deal with the massive the infrastructure problems, caused by a quake which damaged 1.5 million homes and killed over 700. At the same time the international community and relief agencies are coordinating their efforts to assist the Chilean government in the beginnings of the rebuilding process.
