The country’s peak Indigenous Child Care Agency has launched 2 new initiatives today, aimed at improving community access to service providers. The Secretariat of National Aboriginal and Islander Child Care has developed an on-line Services Directory to compliment the new Resource Service, listing culturally relevant service providers for Indigenous families. Secretariat Chair, Muriel Bamblett says the body hopes to establish collaborative projects across a number of federal departments, to ensure an holistic approach to child development.
