Last week the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change delivered a harrowing report, highlighting the impact our food waste is having on climate change.
Worldwide, we waste one-third of all food produced, and this waste is emitting deadly methane gas into our atmosphere. The report urges the world to make changes to combat this growing issue.
Now, Dr Bryan Lessard, Entomologist at the CSIRO, has the solution, albeit a creepy and crawly one. He, along with other scientists, is teaming up with organic food waste company, Goterra, to bring our native insects to the rescue…and to our plate.
