But a report commissioned by Carers Australia shows that their work is worth 40.9 Billion dollars every year. Despite their generous contribution to our society carers are often put at a significant personal disadvantage- And when it comes to superannuation, a lifetime of selfless caring can often end in an underfunded retirement.
