The Nationals are again embroiled in a bruising stoush over Scott Morrison’s intention to agree to the zero carbon emissions target for Australia, following the change in the US policy direction under President Joe Biden.

Senator for Queensland Matt Canavan has clearly said he would cross the floor if the carbon emissions target proposal in its current form is set to reduce these emissions by 2050.  His concern centres on the burdon being borne by farmers who don’t know exactly what they are being asked to do.
