Delegates attending the International Harm Reduction conference in Malaysia last week called on governments to decriminalise drugs and introduce harm reduction programs. But whether police, medical practitioners, human rights advocates or people who use drugs, the message was the same; it’s time to end the failed and misinformed war on drugs.
