A federal backbencher wakes up blindfolded and tied to a chair in an unknown location – that’s the opening of a new political play which has its world premiere in Adelaide tonight. The play follows the issues of our time through the lives of two characters – one that stayed true to 70’s left-wing thinking and one that has moved with the times. Director Russell Fewster told Annie Hastwell why the play is relavent today.
