Last week Blood Bank spokes man Nick McGowan said the organisation would review the current restrictions on sexually active gay men donating blood. Right now when you go to give blood, the form asks you whether you have had male to male sex, and whether you have had sex with a man who could be bi-sexual in the last 12 months, if you answer yes to either of these, you will be banned from giving blood for the next 12 month.
