Big investors say federal action needed to drive climate adaptation

The Investor Group on Climate Change which represents groups with a combined worth of $1.2 trillion say the costs for disaster relief will only climb as the warming already caused by climate change affects local weather patterns.

They want the federal government to take a lead role on coordinating efforts to identify infrastructure at risk from the effects of global warming and develop a strategy to adapt to the changes.
