Australia’s only indigenous-run police station
Warakurna is a remote community 300 kilometres west of Uluru. Since indigenous police officers Wendy Kelly and Revis Ryder arrived the community relationship with police has become a positive one. Cornel Ozies’s inspiring documentary reveals their dogged attempts to understand language and the local lore, so they can police effectively, and replace the historical black and white enforcement approach of the past.
