As Tony Abbott heads to Jakarta for talks with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhyono, one expert says Australia may be losing its moral authority among the country’s political elite. The row over asylum seekers isn’t helping. A presidential spokesperson said today that Abbott’s statements on the issue were just designed to win votes.
