Overcrowding has been blamed for a riot involving 150 asylum seekers at the Christmas Island Detention Centre on Saturday night. The Immigration Department has launched an investigation, amid claims by the Federal Opposition that the detention centre is being mismanaged. But refugee advocates are saying the biggest problem is too many people, and not enough space.
