Former Anangu Pitjanjatjara Lands Advisor, Lowitja O’Donoghue, has given up her position claiming that the South Australian Government has abandoned the AP Lands. After the Bob Collins saga, the AP Lands are still waiting for a new coordinator which the Government promised before last Christmas. However, Acting Aboriginal Affairs Minister, Jay Weatherill, says that the Government has spent $25 million on services in the lands, and that these things take time. Samantha Regione spoke with Mr Weatherill, and Democrat Kate Reynolds.
