Amnesty International calls for pressure on Iran over death penalty

In the last 30 years reports of human rights abuses in Iran have been consistent in their documentation of brutality. Amnesty International’s latest report is no exception. Eight women and one man face the death penalty by stoning for sexual crimes including adultery and incest. Human right groups say Iran has one of the worst human rights records and are calling for the international community to increase pressure the regime.
