A push to have alcohol sold at local convenience stores and servos is taking place, starting with a Productivity Commission enquiry.

Under Australian law, convenience stores and service stations are not permitted to sell alcohol – unlike many other countries around the world. The Australian Association of Convenience Stores has begun a campaign to get this law overturned.
