Victoria’s leading homelessness advocates, frontline workers, and young people with lived experience are joining forces this week to demand urgent government action on youth homelessness.

Gathering at the Victorian Youth Homelessness Assembly in Melbourne, the sector is calling for a long-overdue strategy to address a crisis that left over 16,000 young people seeking help last year.

With no current Youth Homelessness Strategy in place, I spoke with Council to Homeless Persons CEO Deborah Di Natale about what needs to change.
