ACTU conference addresses rise in insecure work

The ACTU has today concluded a two day conference looking at the issues with casual and short term contracts. Over 40 per cent of the Australian workforce are casual employees, the second highest in the OECD. Ged Kearney, President of the ACTU said that temporary work brings uncertainty to employees.
