The NSW Police have once again been accused of racial intimidation in dealing with Sydney’s Aboriginal community, following a riot in Redfern last night, that left scores injured. The brawl between local Aborigines and 60 police officers in riot gear was sparked by the death of a 17-year-old boy on Saturday. The media today has been awash with claim and counter claim about the boy’s death, and three official inquiries are now underway.
