Racism, the Northern Territory Intervention and a system that puts profit before people – they were just some of the weighty topics discussed last night at a public forum at Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute in Adelaide. The forum, titled ‘An Aboriginal Perspective on Inequality, the Intervention, Racism and Struggle’, drew people from all walks of life and focussed on some of the most important issues facing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Australia.
