A new national ad campaign calling for an end to Indigenous inequality was aired across every satellite and free-to-air television network last night. Thirteen-year-old Aboriginal girl, Madeleine Madden, spoke on behalf of the not-for-profit group, Generation One, about creating job security and building a better future for her people. The organizers of the campaign believe Madeleine’s message reached about 6 million people, and ultimately aim to close the gap between Indigenous and other Australians in one generation.
