A recent advertisement by Channel 9 campaigning for the COVID vaccine has been criticized for its lack of diversity and has raised concerns over the possible whitewashing of COVID messages.

Indigenous groups around the country are calling for more culturally appropriate campaigns to close the divide between COVID information and Indigenous communities.
