Against the trend of many polls, Greeks voted over 60% against the draconian EU bailout offer. The opposition leader and former Prime Minister Samaras resigned early in the evening after the polls closed, but surprisingly now the Greek-Australian Syriza Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis has resigned. EU Finance Ministers seem to have pressured the Greek government to replace Varoufakis who has irritated many in the EU to the extreme. Will the European Bank resume financing Greek banks and allow them to open now?
