On the 25th of January this year, 57 of the largest emitters in Australia requested (and were granted) increases in their baseline emissions.

This would be normally offset against reductions in other emissions, yet with increases in the agricultural sector, transport sector and all other areas save energy, there appears to be no way we can now achieve the targets set at the Paris Accord.
