From issue of water licences, fish kills, economic booms, drought and environmental concerns, The Wire has charted the plight of the Murray Darling basin over its 15 years.

Professor Mike Young from the University of Adelaide has been a regular correspondent, giving us an insight to policies and management of the system drawing on his over 26 years of work in the area.

He spoke to Sarah Martin about the changes he has seen in that time.
