Australia’s foreign aid contributions continue to decline

Australia is one of the world’s wealthiest nations, but when it comes to foreign aid, it ranks near the bottom among developed countries. Giving less than 84 per cent of its OECD counterparts.

With a federal election on the horizon, organisations like Oxfam, are urging the government to do more to reduce inequality and support vulnerable communities around the world. Warning that while global challenges are mounting, Australia’s contributions continue to fall.
