A mobile phone ban for all public schools in Victoria is set to commence in 2020.
Victorian Education Minister James Merlino, said its the right thing to do despite division and scepticism on the ban.
The aim of the ban is to stop cyber bullying, reduce distractions in the classroom and allow students to engage with their peers in a more effective manner.
